Dora’s system has been sorted, which is a great relief. David has once again been a really good help. We can now relax and enjoy Ioannina.

Looking at the map last night we realised maybe our direction was a little bit off. The coastal road would have been much quicker, but still we are in no hurry and it gives us the opportunity to drive through some more mountain scenery.

Not the most beautiful of sites to sleep, a left over bit of road, now redundant once the new one had been constructed.
Gambling on a good walk
Just north of Athens lies a national park. After two days of intensive sightseeing and culture, it would be good again to stretch the legs.
A city can also be relaxing
Today is our second – and sadly, our last – day in Athens. Today will be quite different from yesterday; we won’t spend so much time in museums, but we will spend more time outdoors, enjoying other activities that the city offers.
